South Africans behave like animals: Cele

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

Provincial Minister of Transport, Community Safety and Liaison Bheki Cele has expressed disgust at the brutality of crime in the country, likening the behaviour to that of animals.

Cele was referring to a recent incident where a mother of three was killed by her husband.

“Some South Africans don’t deserve to be called human beings because they behave like animals. But I can assure you many animals behave better than us,” he said.

Speaking at the launch of the Volunteer Social Crime Prevention Project in Pinetown on Thursday, Cele added: “We might still argue the volume of crime is at times exaggerated, but when it comes to the brutality, I surrender,” he said.

Citing examples where fathers are raping and killing their children, Cele said even animals protected their children.

“We are in such a brutal society and I don’t know why. We are brutal. We are cruel as South Africans, and to no one else but ourselves,” he said.

“What kind of people kill their own kids? Even dogs protect their puppies.”

Cele appealed to South Africans to show more compassion for one another. “I call on each one of you to remember you are human beings when you fall asleep at night.”

He said he hoped the volunteer project would help people “renew themselves as human beings”.

The volunteer social crime prevention workers were trained in the same methodology used by Scotland Yard in the United Kingdom by representatives from the Greater Manchester Police.

The project is geared primarily at social crime prevention and comprises volunteers who have completed a module on social crime prevention developed by the University of Zululand that focussed on criminal procedure, bail, domestic violence, the criminal justice system, liquor laws and equality.
