[I received an email from an Indian in Durban and he told me another way in which the Police fiddle the crime statistics. It has to do with not counting crimes, UNLESS you press charges – which most people don”t bother to do! People mainly report crimes only to get the Insurance, and those are the crimes which are NOT counted!! So this adds to President Mbeki”s “crime fighting” methods… they just count in a different way and that”s how they can claim that crime is going down! Jan] Hello!
