There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

Horrified guests and employees looked on in disbelief when a VIP protection service police constable shot dead his ex-wife at The Capetonian Hotel before turning the gun on himself.

In the sixth police murder-suicide in a year, Butityi Isaac Mala first argued with Cynthia Gadezweni, then shot her twice in the chest with his service firearm before shooting himself in the head on Monday.

The couple, both aged 40, were from Gugulethu.

‘It was a family crisis’

A hotel employee, who declined to give her name, said while shaking her head and crying: “It was a family crisis. This shouldn’t have happened.”

Hours after the shooting, guests and employees remained huddled outside the hotel and watched as forensic pathologists examined the bodies which lay a metre apart in the visitors’ parking area.

A worker from neighbouring Telkom, who identified herself only as Thami, said she had been walking to work when she saw the two arguing.

“It was strange because (Gadezweni) was always cheerful. She started screaming because (Mala) pulled out a gun. He shot her twice in the chest. It happened in seconds. Then he walked around for a few moments and shot himself in the head. I ran to help. There was blood coming out his mouth.

“It was crazy and people were screaming. I saw (Gadezweni) every day. We used to talk. She said she had a child,” she said turning away from the bodies.

Alfawaz Saleem, a hotel guest from Saudi Arabia, said he had seen Gadezweni every morning because she had made his breakfast.

“She made eggs and was very friendly. I found it unusual when I didn’t see her this morning. I heard the shots. I can’t believe it. I saw him (Mala) with her last week,” he said.

Colleagues, some staring through windows, wept as Gadezweni’s body was loaded into a mortuary van. Forensic pathologists emptied the contents of Mala’s pockets before removing his body.

A telephone operator at the hotel said no one was available for comment on Monday.

Police spokesperson Randall Stoffels said a murder and an inquest docket had been opened.

In May, Bennie Paulse, 43, the commander of the Nelspoort satellite police station, shot dead his girlfriend Valmarie Schroeder, 25, before shooting himself.

A month earlier, Kuils River police officer Denzel Owies, 27, killed his 18-month-old son and then himself.

In February, Charl Scharnick, a constable at the Paarl East police station, shot and killed his wife Mesade, 28, and 60-year-old father-in-law before shooting himself.

In November, Kuils River police officer Thanduxolo Nzumkuma, 29, fatally shot his pregnant wife, Bulelwa, 28. Last August, Brackenfell policeman Marius van der Westhuizen shot and killed his three children and then tried to kill himself.

In the same week, Eerste River police officer Richard Singh killed himself after killing his ex-girlfriend, Nomonde Mgquba.
