A friend of my mom managed to get a copy of the South African magazine: Family Radio & TV, 6 June 1977. And on the cover was a face I haven’t seen in a very long time. Its Donna Wurzel who was very well known in Rhodesia. I won’t say much for the hair style, but the magazine is in very good shape. I scanned some other images form it and will post them for fun. Donna was on the cover. The story about Rhodesia’s women doing a man’s job is about white girls in the Police who were also ready to go out and face terrorist scum. The author is non other than A. J. Venter, who now is in Britain and contributes to the famous and authoritative defence journal: Janes. BTW, what happened to Donna Wurzel? Does anyone know? Jan.
