I have a masters in history from the University of South Carolina. When I saw that the end of apartheid meant a socialist regime would be in charge of that fantastic country I literally cried for all peoples who live there. History shows us that all communist or socialist regimes ensure that every person will eventually suffer a horrendous economic condition.(with the exception of those in top political positions). What a shame to see the one viable economic entity on the entire african continent forced into a totally unfeasible situation. Marxism, or whatever one chooses to call it, fails all persons in all economies wherever it has been attempted. I praise the few who have the courage to continue the fight for a fair, conservative, South Africa. I pray that I will live to see it restored to it’s position of prominence in the countries of the world. |
