Africa’s Newest Official One Party State: South Africa

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

SubTitle: 2004: The Great Defeat of South Africa’s White Liberals

Before launching into my article, I want to point out one fact which nobody in the media
anywhere is mentioning. It is that as a result of the election held in South Africa, on
14th April, 2004, that South Africa is now, legally, a One Party state. The opposition, in
all its forms has been crushed. There is not one single news report I have seen on TV, heard
on the radio, or read in a newspaper which points out that the thing which so many people
feared, has finally happened. The ANC has finally achieved more than the 2/3rds majority.
It is almost at 70%. This means it can change the South African constitution any time it wants
to, in any way it wants to and all the opposition put together cannot stop this. This is where
Robert Mugabe, and so many other African states have gone. If history is our guide, then from
here onwards the road is inexorably, downwards… faster than ever. Judging by the rhetoric
of the ANC, the coming years will see much more socialism than we’ve yet had… South Africa
is now firmly on the path to dictatorship and destruction seen by so many other African states.

Not only are we a One Party State now, but the Liberal whites in South Africa, the ones who even
opposed Apartheid (about 40% of white South Africans fell in this category in the years of
Apartheid), were so sure, that Liberalism was the answer all along. In the last 10 years they
have become more and more convinced that Liberalism, as opposed to the Conservatism of Apartheid,
was the answer. Well… this week, the Liberals of South Africa, suffered their greatest disaster
ever. And yet, for years, I had been telling my liberal friends that this day was coming.

My buddy Dave and I were chatting this evening. Being a liberal, he was really down. Dave and I have a strange friendship going back to 1989 when we first worked together. Being Jewish, he is a determined liberal to the bitter end. In spite of our totally opposite political views, we chat a tremendous amount about politics. At times, Dave gives me insights into the thinking processes of liberals. I learn from it.

Dave is a total believer in the multiracial society. He was so proud of the Liberals. The flagship of South African liberals was the DA (Democratic Alliance). The DA was born from the DP (Democratic Party) – and prior to that the PFP (If I remember correctly).

Dave follows the news even more closely than I do. He reads every newspaper, and follows events in this country with a passion that often surpasses mine. Whereas I report on politics because I feel it is necessary – he follows politics because he loves it.

The DP/DA, had under 2% of the electorate in 1994. By 1999, they were over 9%. During this time, the former National Party (now renamed the NNP), was dying. In 1994, the NP got well over 20% of the votes. By 2004, they were down to less than 2%.

In the 2000 local elections, the DA went from 9% in 1999, to 20% and more.

So for Liberals, the rising popularity of the DA really gave them more and more confidence. They watched the dying NP (now NNP), and they felt completely vindicated in their views.

Dave, the undying liberal, was telling me, the DA was the way to go. Working with blacks was the way out. The DA would bring blacks under their banner, and together, black and white would work together as brothers and ultimately common-sense, brotherly trust, etc would help us to defeat the ANC and save this country.

The DA went into the townships, and campaigned furiously there against the ANC.

But while Dave was crowing about the manner in which the DA was rising, and becoming stronger, eventually becoming the official opposition in parliament… I always cautioned him.

I told Dave, that while the Liberals believe it is ultimately their destiny to defeat the ANC, I believe, their ultimate destiny is to be defeated by the ANC.

In the days before this election, the DA put out pamphlets, and news articles saying they were expecting 20-30% of the vote in this country. They were convinced they were bringing the blacks on board.

It is very possible they were making headway. I am not saying, the liberal process is totally flawed. But, my skepticism comes from the racial issues, and the deeper divides the ANC loves. I said in my book, “Government by Deception”, that exacerbating the racial divide is the secret ANC trick. This is the path forward for the ANC, just as much as it was for Mugabe in Zimbabwe. These people CANNOT AFFORD RACIAL RECONCILIATION AS IT WOULD DESTROY THEIR POWER BASE.

When the first votes came in last night, the DA was getting 22-25% of the votes. Now that the counting is almost finished, they are down to 12.7% – maybe even less.

Even as the results were turning negative – I said to Dave, things are getting worse… and he said to me: “Wait, we must wait for the election results from the big townships like Soweto, where the DA have been campaigning… We must see if blacks voted for them… they made a lot of headway in the townships.”

But… this evening… Dave phoned me, and he was really down. He was stunned. He could not believe the DA was down to under 13%. He said to me: “Tony Leon [the leader of the DA] is putting on a brave face… but deep down… this is hurting…”

Well, I hate to say, I told you so… but I had said to Dave all through these years, that Liberalism will fail in South Africa. White Liberals don’t know what they are dealing with here. The ANC will use every trick in the book to win.

I then said to Dave: I really still think that elections in this country are not a true reflection of the race relations we have. I do not believe that 70% of the people of this country support the ANC. I think their real support is lower – maybe by 5-10%. That’s my suspicion. I said to him that I think the DA probably did get more votes than it was credited with… We then discussed at length my election rigging theory. We wondered if there was a way of determining what the real results might have been.

Dave had never before wanted to listen to my arguments, but tonight, for the first time he entertained them. He pointed out places like rural Kwa-Zulu-Natal, where the IFP has firm and strong followings… and how, in these election results, suddenly these rural people are now voting ANC – which is quite unthinkable for them. It didn’t make sense.

Dave was sad. Since 1999, he’s been firmly telling me of the Liberal dream of winning the blacks over to work with us. In the last 48 hours, the Liberal dream has been smashed to pieces. Sure, the DA has more than it had in 1999, but it has taken an enormous knock. It was really aiming for well over 20% (which it had achieved in 2000)… But the rug was pulled from under its feet.

Not one newspaper, nor radio, nor TV story mentions that we are now a de facto, One Party State. And the Liberals have taken their tremendous defeat quietly. But deep down… the Liberals must be hurting. They were so sure they could get the blacks in the townships to work with them. They’ve spent years and years campaigning there… and they did make headway.

But what went wrong? Dave mentioned that he saw a TV report where an analyst had said that 25% of blacks in the townships had said they were sick of the ANC And they wanted to vote for another party… but that 25% had said they feared retribution and intimidation if they voted for anyone other than the ANC.

I had said to Dave for years: The reason I don’t believe in the Liberal approach in Africa is because these parties like the ANC, will CHEAT. They will play dirty. They’ll use the race card. I would believe in Liberalism in Africa if things were truly free and fair and as they appear to be. But that’s not the way things are. Its dirty, its sneaky. That’s why Liberalism in South Africa and Zimbabwe and other states is completely doomed.

The past two days delivered the biggest shock to South African Liberals since 1994. I hope it wakes some of them up.
