S.Africa: Orania’s father Carel Boshoff laid to rest – My Comments – Black Racists and White Racists

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

[I am sorry to hear about the passing away of Professor Carel Boshoff. I have a book I was given when I visited Orania which describes the original concept of an Afrikaner homeland. Orania is a great experiment and a solid, intellectual idea.

I don’t know why anyone has a problem with whites who are looking out for their own. You get Black Racists calling themselves “Black Nationalists” doing the most racist things and they are proud of it. If a White person called himself a “White Nationalist” he’d be thrown in jail without any further discussion.

Orania is no crime, and what Boshoff did is brilliant. The Orania experiment must continue on. Jan]

THE founder of South Africa's whites-only enclave, Professor Carel Boshoff, was yesterday buried in Orania in the Northern Cape. Boshoff died at his home on Wednesday after a battle with cancer.

The funeral service for the 83year-old former Broederbond chairman was attended by about 500 mourners, including former Northern Cape premier Manne Dipico and AfriForum's Willie Spies.

The speaker of the Northern Cape legislature, Boeboe van Wyk, said Boshoff was “a wellrespected leader” in the province and also within the ANC.

“While he believed in the selfdetermination of the Afrikaner people, he also believed in the promotion of basic human rights,” Van Wyk said.

He told mourners there were valuable lessons to be learnt about sustainable development from the work done in Orania.

Among the tributes was one from IFP leader Mangosuthu Buthelezi, whose message was read out by the IFP's Koos van der Merwe.

“He (Buthelezi) said he knew Boshoff well and regarded him as a man of vision, although some people complained that he was an isolationist.”

Boshoff's coffin, draped in the orange, white and blue of the Orania flag, was transported on the back of a white bakkie.

His son, also Carel, 48, told mourners: “What I miss most about him is his discussions . as if time didn't exist. He was not governed by the clock, was very humane and reached out to people until the very end.

“We are very sad, the people loved him, but we are very religious and trust he's in a better place,” he said.

Boshoff was buried next to his wife Anna, who died several years ago. She was the daughter of the architect of apartheid, former South African prime minster Hendrik Verwoerd.

Born in Nylstroom, in the then Transvaal, on November 9 1927, Boshoff obtained a degree in theology at the University of Pretoria in 1951.

He became a full-time executive officer of the Afrikanervryheidstigting, established to promote the idea of an Afrikaner volkstaat

Orania was founded in 1990, just months after Nelson Mandela was released from jail.

In 1993, Boshoff was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by a Belgian neo-fascist group for his work in establishing Orania.

Apart from being a town exclusively for Afrikaners, Orania is famous for its koeksister monument.
