More on my visit to Orania – June 2009

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

I was extremely impressed by everything I had heard of Orania even before I got there. First of all, the far-seeing vision of the founders of the town. The idea of an Afrikaner resurgence in anticipation of the ultimate betrayal of 1994 caught my imagination, and I identified with it from the moment I became aware of it – thanks to AfricanCrisis. The only doubts I entertained concerned the small size of the Orania project – only a few hundred inhabitants. Today, eighteen months after my short visit and strengthened by the information I have received since those enjoyable few hours, I am more convinced than ever that the small number of inhabitants of Orania represents a two-sided problem that must be overcome.
It is undoubtedly true that Orania represents the best of Afrikaner initiative and genius. Some of the things I saw there are almost incredible, given the small number of people directly involved. I, having been a high-school teacher here in Israel for twenty-five years and being convinced of the potential imbedded in education for a people’s national future, found special interest in Orania’s impressive educational achievements. But here precisely is the point. Along with the problem of Orania’s miniscule size, there is the problem of the small number of Afrikaner youth enjoying the benefits of an Orania education. In my mind’s eye I can visualize Orania’s schools doubling and tripling their effectiveness by drawing Afrikaner national-minded youth from all over South Africa to partake of these educational benefits. Electronic connections and especially dormitory arrangements must enable Orania’s schooling projects to attract Afrikaner youth to Orania itself, not only spiritually and mentally but physically itself. I find it difficult to imagine a youngster growing up in Orania’s schooling system and maturing in it, not making it his first priority to live there in his adult life, thus increasing Orania’s population on the one hand and its ability to draw more of the Afrikaner population of South Africa to it, on the other.
Orania’s schools can be developed into a goldmine for the Afrikaner national future.
More power to you for what you have already achieved in Orania, but there is still a long way to go. This is no time to rest on your laurels – not that I think that that is what you are doing, for I have witnessed Orania’s energetic development – this is the time for bold planning and execution of plans.
May you succeed over and above your own expectations! God be with you!
