There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

Abuja – In spite of the New Year’s eve bombing of the Mogadishu Cantonment formerly known as Sanni Abacha Barracks that killed 10 people, residents of the Federal Capital Territory defied the bombers as they trooped out en masse to celebrate the New Year. Security was also beefed up in churches as armed policemen manned entrances to churches during services to commemorate the New Year even as soldiers were deployed in strategic locations of the territory to contain any likely breakdown of law and order.
With the approval of some churches, security operatives used metal detectors and bomb scanners on those attending services while the boots of their vehicles were subjected to thorough scanning.
At the Asokoro District Hospital, the Acting Chief Medical Director, Amos Adebayo, said some of the 18 victims of the bombing receiving treatment at the hospital, would undergo surgery and implants while others were in dire need of blood. He said the blood bank in the territory was exhausted and called for donors to come to their rescue.
But the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Bala Mohammed, who were at the Maitama Hospital to commiserate with the victims said Nigerians needed to know what happened beyond the bomb blast.
Mogadishu cantonment, scene of the blast remained sealed as operatives of military intelligence and State Security Services (SSS) were seen shouting at motorists who attempted to park near the place to leave immediately while about three ambulances were still parked in front of the blast scene.
At the popular Millennium Park, off Shehu Shagari Way, a few meters from the scene of the Independence anniversary bombings, residents of the territory especially the youth trooped out in their hundreds to celebrate the New Year.
From midnight, the city was inundated with fireworks and firecrackers, some of which sounded louder than bangers leaving residents wondering if they were bombs.
At the Wonderland Amusement Park located near the National Stadium, parents and their children thronged the place as if no such thing took place.
Some of them who spoke to THISDAY said “people who are bombing innocent people know they are not God. Will they kill the entire country? The children must not be made to know that a few people who are desperate to secure power are threatening their happiness. We must make them happy”.
Some of the youths who came from satellite towns appeared not to have known about the explosion but said they were determined to complete the new year celebration circle already pre-planned.
At the Maitama Hospital, where 12 of the victims were receiving treatment, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole, said the nation needed to know beyond what happened.
“I saw the site where the explosion occurred. I think we need to allow bomb experts finish their jobs before making any comment. We need to know what happened beyond what we see now. Of course, some lost their lives, so we need to give them time before we start looking at the whole incident”, he said.
Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Bala Mohammed, who was also at the hospital described the bomb blast as the antics of politicians designed “to create artificial insecurity so that the country will become ungovernable”.
“I am not holding brief for MEND nor Boko Haram. This is an act of cowardice using blood to play politics. The December 31 bomb blast occurred one hour after the FCT authorities rose from a crucial security meeting with security chiefs within the territory.
“Due to increasing tension of insecurity, the FCT officials cancelled all public activities as a precautionary measures to avert any terrorist act. A move that became fruitless as the unidentified persons detonated a bomb at the Mogadishu Cantonement, killing persons”, he said.
Twelve of the victims at the Maitama Hospital were also billed to undergo surgery with two of them in critical condition. Government has also decided to offer free medical care to victims of the blast.
At Our Lady Queen of Nigeria Pro-cathedral located in Area 3, Garki District, gun-totting policemen were positioned in strategic positions and at the entrance to church. The Living Faith Church aka Winners chapel were also said to have approved the use of scanners on those attending the new year service while the booth of their vehicles were subjected to though scanning. The same situation was replicated in other Churches.
