There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

Abuja And Segun Awofadeji in Bauchi – President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday said the expert analysis of the components used in making the bombs which have exploded in various parts of the country in the last one year indicated that they are from two sources.

The President said the bombs which have been used all over Niger Delta and the one that exploded in Abuja last October 1 were all from the same source while those used in Jos and the one that went off in Abuja on New Year eve were from the same source.

Also Defence Minister, Prince Adetokunbo Kayode said the Federal Gover-nment may invite foreign experts to join the Nigerian specialists who are investigating the source and perpetrators of the bomb blast.

But Jonathan’s opponent in the race for who flies the flag of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the April elections, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar was unimpressed by the President’s explanation.

He told journalists in Bauchi yesterday that the spate of bomb explosions in the country showed that the government was incapable of handling internal security issues.

Another presidential aspirant, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, however, urged government to be thorough by investigating the various bomb explosions and bring to justice perpetrators of the bomb blasts.

While speaking after a New Year service at the Evangelical Church of West Africa (ECWA) Abuja, Jonathan said the preliminary analysis of the explosives used in making the bombs showed some unique characteristics.

“The preliminary analysis of the explosives so far used in Nigeria, the one used in the October 1 explosion has the same characteristics with the ones that happened in Port Harcourt, Warri and some parts of the Niger Delta, it has been classified. The one that happened yesterday (Friday) from preliminary analysis is identical with the ones that happened in Jos. So there are two routes. As long as the security operatives know the two routes, we will get to where these things are coming from,” he said.

He also assured Nigerians that his administration was closing in on those who were disturbing the peace of the country with their nefarious activities and called for more vigilance.

“But for now, the security people are on it and they will get to the root of this matter. We will get to the root of the car bombs that started in Niger Delta and crept into Abuja and this one too that started in Jos and crept into Abuja,” the President said.

He said the activities of those behind the bombings were inexcusable as no religion permits the killing of innocent children as it was witnessed in the Barracks’ bombing in Abuja on Friday night.

Jonathan however, urged Nigerians to be calm and stable while they should see what was happening in the polity as part of the challenges that would usher the country into the Promised Land. He also said nothing good comes easy.

“But I will tell Nigerians, to be calm, be stable. If you look at the journey of the Israelites to the Promised Land, it was tortuous, a number of them even died along the way. We must have challenges, it was Bongos Ikwe who sang that ‘nothing good comes easy this I know’. So nothing good will come so easily to us. For us to get where we want to go as a nation, we will have our obstacles.

“These explosives and explosions are part of the road bumps that are being placed but God will see us through. They will never stop Nigeria from where we are going to, we must work and reproduce a country for our children, a country where there will be no space for terrorists, a country where there will be no bombers and people with explosives to deter us,” he said.

Jonathan regretted that the explosions were part of the challenges of technological development which those behind their use in Nigeria have exploited their negative uses and wondered “how somebody will plant an explosive that will kill any of these children under 10. What kind of person do you think that person is” he asked.

Nigeria’s backwardness, he reasoned, when compared to those that started with Nigeria like India, Singapore and Brazil ought to make those who were planting the bombs to have a rethink and apply their knowledge to how to make Nigeria meet up with others.

He admonished Christians to continue to pray as “God will help us as a notion that we will get to the root of this matter. I urge Christians to continue to pray that some of these people will even confess to Nigerians that at the appropriate time they will tell us that they are behind this.”

The Defence Minister, Kayode, while undertaking an on-the-spot assessment of the explosion that took place at the Mammy Market in Mogadishu Cantonment and the Asokoro General Hos-pital where some of the victims of the blast that took place on New Year eve are hospitalised said: “Our experts will deploy all the necessary expertise to get to the root of this (blast) even if it will take international experts to come in, we will do it when the need arises”.

The minister said the bomb blasts, which must have exploded in one of the shops in the Market at about 7pm on Friday left four people dead; among them a pregnant woman. He said 26 others were injured in the blast while 11 of the injured persons are in a very critical condition.

THISDAY gathered that the pregnant woman was said to have come from Jos to celebrate the New Year with her relatives, when one of the sister-in-laws took her out to the Mammy market to buy roasted fish when the explosion occurred.

Also on the list of the injured is a five-year-old girl who had fractures in her two legs while the father, a soldier, had his two legs amputated in the blast.

The Defence Minister told journalists that the blast, which is the latest among the series of bomb explosions across the country was an indication of the political war of attrition directed against the Nigerian public.

He advised Nigerians to be vigilant and report any suspicious movement to the Nigerian Police and assured that everybody involved in the incidence will be tracked down and made to face the full wrath of the law.

“This is deliberate act to create an impression as if there is no security in Nigeria. That is not true and government will not tolerate that. It is unfortunate that those evil people want to create problem between soldiers and civilians and between Muslims and Christians, warning that government will not allow them achieve their devilish aim. These may be their motives, but we should not allow that to overwhelm us”, he said.

“We know that the perpetrators are here living in our midst, as they are not from moon, but government must definitely get them, we must fish them out.”

He said the security agencies have cordoned off the place, while forensic experts have been brought in, as it is going to be a very deep and thorough investigation.

“It is a security challenge, we are on top of the situation, we will investigate the explosion and get all those behind it even though it will take time, but no stone will be left unturned,” he assured.

On whether the government is suspecting the opposition to be behind the explosion, the minister said that the government is not suspecting anybody, but that all hands must be on deck to fish out the perpetrators.

Meanwhile a group that did not disclose its name has been circulating text messages claiming responsibility for the attack.

The group stated in a terse message that: “Don’t suspect anybody. It was us WWW.Mansoorah.net in Abuja. If you did not believe Jos, you will see what we will do”.

However, former vice-president told journalists in Bauchi when he visited the state on campaign, said: “to be honest, I don’t think the government is paying enough attention to the security in this country. If you look at my manifesto, security is the first issue I intend to tackle if elected as the president of this country.”

Also, presidential aspirant of the Action Congress of Nigeria, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu has condoled victims of the Abuja bomb blast, and called on President Goodluck Jonathan to step out promptly and strongly to guarantee the security of Nigerians against random acts of terror that is fast enveloping community life in the country.

Ribadu described the perpetrators of the bomb blasts as “cowards and cruel people who deserve no place in a civilised community”. He said the basic minimum expectation from the government now “is to ensure that the perpetrators of this crazy attack on the fraternal values that unite our communities are promptly and sternly brought to justice.”

Also the Goodluck/ Sambo Campaign Organi-sation has described the explosion at a Mammy market inside Mogadishu barracks, Abuja on new year’s eve represents yet another rude awakening on the extent evil people will go to commit murder, cause mayhem and destabilise the polity.

In a statement signed by the Director of Media and Publicity of the campaigns, Mr. Sully Abu, the campaign organisation asked, “What grievance or purpose can justify killing and maiming innocent people and especially at a festive period?

“Like the Jos bombings before it, this cowardly act, a practice alien to our shores, has clearly been perpetrated by very sick minds. But they would fail in their intent,” the organisation said.

“All Nigerians must remain vigilant and be involved in the effort to safeguard the country’s unity, peace and development. We must frustrate the plans of those who are bent on aborting our progress and the gains so far made in the march of our democracy”.
