My Trip to America: Americans are really interesting…. Orania is more like America…

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

I cannot emphasise how important this trip has been to me. Living in people’s houses, and going from person to person to see how these folks live and what they are like face to face, has been a huge learning experience for me.

60% of human communication is non-verbal, and the Internet just does not do it justice.

I see much… and I observe all sorts of small and bigger things… and I analyse them in ways they themselves would not think of.

The average, “common” American, is really quite an admirable person. These people are really good citizens and most of them are overqualified for the work they do. In Africa, most of the people are underqualified for the work they do. The garbage man in America or the guy who is a petrol station attendant (yes, they have some here) is quite different to what we see in Africa. These people have an intellectual curiosity that goes beyond that of the blacks in Africa.

In many ways I have developed much more empathy for Americans. One can’t fault them on the way they live their lives. Complete with their foibles and all, they are just trying to make the best of life, and they are not lazy.

Even the girl who serves you as a waitress or at a fast food outlet and says: “Do you want fries with that?” is quite admirable. I have seen quite a lot of these people.

The women here also aren’t bad at all. White South African women are extremely spoiled by comparison. And whites in Africa, even the men, we could learn much from these people.

To me, the whites in Orania are much more like the Americans. We whites in Africa must be honest with ourselves and admit that our dependence on blacks made us soft, fat and really quite wussy. You folks should see what the average American does and how he or she makes it through life. Some of these people, including the women, really worked hard work and did all kinds of work that no white woman in South Africa would ever do.

It makes me think of my Afrikaans friend in Australia. She has a good husband and good life. She said to me one day she wished she could find me an Australian wife. She was telling me that the women in Australia are a bit rough around the edges but they work really hard and have good hearts. They really impressed her – and Amanda is not easily impressed.

But the whites in this part of the world are quite interesting and the more I observe them, the more I understand them, and I can see what they overcome.

This big myth that Americans are all rich is bull. Many Americans work really hard to survive and make ends meet and they do it with no help. Whites in Africa really need to stop being more wussy. That is part of our problem, and a big thing holding us back from reaching our potential.
