There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

Lagos – SINCE the Police in Lagos intensified its efforts in cracking down the uneconomic activities of illegal oil bunkerers in the state, arresting and parading suspected violators, there had never been an instance like that which unfolded last week Wednesday; July 21, 2010.

There it was discovered that a middled-aged man identified as Mr. Mike Chuks Okonkwo and six others including a pregnant woman were alleged to have dug a 40 feet deep well, burrowed a pipe into an NNPC major pipeline through which he (Mike) was allegedly siphoning the product. Anxious Journalists after the parade of the suspects at the open ground of Police Public relations office, GRA Ikeja were led to the scene at Isheri-Olofin, off LASU road in Idimun Local Council Development Area, Lagos where the police actually scooped out product said to be Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) otherwise known as fuel.

The demonstration invariably confirmed that the 40 feet deep well which was originally dug for the purpose of supplying water for a paint manufacturing factory was actually converted into a fuel dump. However, the prime suspect, Mr. Mike Okonkwo flatly denied such allegation insisting that he had never been involved in any act of criminality all his years on earth adding that when it was discovered that the water from the well was being contaminated with petroleum product, he promptly alerted officials of NNPC carrying out repair works close to the area who instructed him to shut the well assuring that with time, the product would fizzle out.

Mr. Okonkwo further said that he had no alternative than to procure two overhead tanks and started buying water for his factory. Curiously, his explanation seemed not to be convincing enough to the Police who is still detaining him and those arrested in his factory including a pregnant woman pending the outcome of full investigation.

Investigation

But a discrete investigation conducted by Crime Guard in the area substantially revealed that residents of Diamond Estate and the adjoining community where the factory was situated had sometimes in two years ago reported spillage of petroleum product into their wells to officials of NNPC and that most of them have long stopped using their wells for domestic purpose following the spillage which was reportedly caused by a damaged NNPC pipeline.

That the case was promptly reported to some NNPC engineers who were on site carrying out repair works at the time. Secondly, a visit to the scene Thursday, July 29, 2010 revealed that no NNPC pipeline was tampered with as the pipe which was laid deep into the earth about 100 meters from the controversial well have been excavated to determine whether it was tampered with.

Community’s defence

However, at the Vanguard Media head office on Kirikiri Canal, Apapa, Lagos, kinsmen to the detained Mike Okonkwo led by Messrs Bonny Okonkwo, Sam Ajuluchukwu and Jerry Okwosa all natives of Oraifitie in Anambra state and members of Ifite-Oraifite Progressive Union, Lagos described the arrest of their kinsman as sponsored and politically motivated.

They claimed that an unnamed powerful politician and an accomplished business man who is also a native of Oraifite was behind the whole ungodly drama; lamenting why the police would play the role of a willingly lackey in the hands of this politician for ephemeral perquisites. They questioned the rationale behind Police parading Mike and his staff before pressmen when they claimed that the matter was still under investigation.

To them, transferring a case of alleged illegal oil bunkering to the Special Anti Robbery Squad SARS when there is in place an anti-pipeline vandalization unit was to confirmed the early threat by the said powerful politician to cow Mike Okonkwo using the police for his hard stand against injustice. According to them, what Mike is suffering today started in 2007 after he stoutly opposed the said unnamed business mogul for playing god in the affairs of the entire Oraifite community.

Said Bonny Okonwko, Chairman of Ifite Oraifite Progressive Union, Lagos: ” Mike Chuks Okonkwo is one of the executive members of Oraifitie and Ifite Oraifite Progressive Union here in Lagos. He belong to the integrity group, those who believe in the rule of law, those who believe that things should be done according to laid down principles of justice and equity. But a few money bags who are constantly boasting that they are connected to the Presidency, that they have the Police at their beck and calls, that they can do anything unchallenged are those terrorizing us. Mike has been in the business of producing paints for the past 15 years and have never been found wanting.

He has never had cause to visit the police; except perhaps, on courtesy calls. I want to tell you that so far, we have gone round the whole length of NNPC pipeline and there was no trace of vandalization, no trace of leakage, and even officials of NNPC who have excavated the pipe have confirmed that no damage was done to their pipes.

So we are asking the police where they got the fuel they claimed to have been found in the well which Mike dug years ago for the purpose of supplying water for his factory. For your information, when Mike was arrested and detained at Idimu police station, I went there and met the DPO, CSP Ambrose Aghedo who told me that the matter was above him and that there is order from above to keep Mike.

So we wrote a petition to the AIG zone 2 who I am aware, directed that the matter should be transferred to the anti-vandalization unit in Onika. But when we went there in Thursday, we heard that a signal has been received to transfer the case to SARS contrary to the AIG’s order.

And I want you know that in 2008 this same Mike Chuks Okonkwo and Fidelis Okonkwo who was the financial secretary were framed up by the same self acclaimed ‘Oraifite kings maker’ on false allegation that they were bearing arms during a town meeting. The police came, got them arrested and charge with illegal possession of fire arms even when there was no arms found on them. But investigation latter confirmed the paucity of the allegation and they were released.

Apparently feeling humiliated, the duo with the backing of members of Ifite-Oraifite union here in Lagos went to court to press for the enforcement of their fundamental rights. They therefore, sued the commissioner of Police, the Area ‘E’ Commander, joined Messrs Edwin Ezepuo, Edwin Okonkwo and Sir Emeka Ofor in Suit No. M/272/08 at a Lagos High Court presided by Justice Inumidun Akande.

The ruling was a document of public consumption where both Mike and Fedilis Okonkwo were vindicated. This current machination is a fallout of what is happening in the village meeting where this powerful politician wants to determining what takes at the respective village meetings. Oraifite is made up of Ifite, Ezumeri

But this our all powerful politician wants to dictate and control affairs both in the respective villages and the entire community. And we are saying no. This is why Mike who is at the fore front of this opposition is suffering this ordeal now.

Even while Mike was still being detained at Idimu, this powerful son of ours called one of our members that anybody that attempts to procure Mike’s bail would incure his wrath on the ground that the matter is already on the table of President Goodluck Jonathan. This is why we are calling on the Inspector-General of Police Mr. Ogbonna Onovo and well meaning Nigerians to prevail on this matter.
