I heard today more details about Julius Malema’s visit to Orania.
Take note, this was before he went on his totally racist rampage for weeks on end insulting the whites and calling for genocide against Afrikaners. This is before he went an endlessly insulted whites and then claimed (falsely) that whites wanted to kill him and that he needed bodyguards. This is BEFORE he claimed he needed bodyguards to protect him from us whites…
Julius Malema wanted to visit the Afrikaners in Orania. The people from Orania said that they would meet at a place of their choosing and that they would nominate 7 people from their side to meet 7 people from Malema’s side. They said they were prepared to meet him to discuss anything behind closed doors.
On the day of the meeting, Julius Malema arrived in his black Mercedes Benz and he had a 15 car convoy which INCLUDED BODYGUARDS! (This is before he went on his racist, genocidal rampage and claimed he needed bodyguards). The coward then already had his own bodyguards!
Malema hammered ceasely on why the Afrikaners in Orania weren’t joining “the Rainbow nation”. He said they could be useful and that they could help to teach the blacks how to farm.
They countered by saying to him that the best way they could contribute to South Africa was by retaining and protecting their identity. They could still benefit the country.
In my discussions with various thinkers in Orania, they see themselves as becoming a service community that stretches beyond their borders into neighbouring rural areas and towns. I was told that one coloured man in another town even wanted to send his kids to the Orania school because he was so impressed with their education system.
I saw with my own eyes how blacks travel through Orania. Blacks can travel freely into and out of Orania at any time and the whites don’t maltreat them or treat them differently or negative in any way. In fact, today I saw some blacks deliberately making a nuisance of themselves in the presence of whites in Orania and the whites just ignored the nuisance blacks and went about their business. The Afrikaners in Orania are very tolerant. They don’t hassle anyone.
