I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

COPE president Mosiuoa Lekota, who lost the battle to become the party’s presidential candidate, has won the fight to have his face appear on the ballot paper.
Confusion reigned when COPE submitted its candidates list to the Independent Electoral Commission as party members were unclear as to whose picture between Lekota and presidential candidate Mvume Dandala, should be put forward as the one to appear on the ballot paper.
But party spokesperson Sipho Ngwema confirmed that the party would follow IEC regulations which require that the party president’s face be on the ballot paper.
COPE asked the IEC to give the party time to decide which picture should appear on the ballot box.
Dandala will, however, feature on the party’s poll posters, something that could cause confusion among the voters.
During a tense meeting to discuss candidates lists in Johannesburg on Tuesday, many senior party members argued that confusion over the party’s election face should be avoided and that Dandala’s picture be put forward to the Independent Electoral Commission.
A COPE Central National Committee member said the agreement was that Dandala’s face would feature on election posters and that voters should be familiarised with the COPE logo to avoid any confusion at voting booths.
