Baathist Syria Begins Intergration Process Into European Union

I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

Syria, EU sign in initials the amended text of Partnership Association

DAMASCUS, (SANA)-Syria and the European Union on Sunday signed in initials the amended text of the Syrian-EU Partnership Association.

“The amended text takes into consideration the developments that took place since the two sides signed the agreement in October, 2004, particularly the increase in the number of the countries that joined the EU and the amendments on the Syrian Customs tariffs as well as compensations for the last duration regarding the Syrian agricultural portions,” Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Abdullah al-Dardari said during a press conference following the signing ceremony.

He added that the amended text represents a basic plan in bilateral ties between Syria and the EU, based on mutual Will and common interests, saying “the move comes as a preliminary step towards the final signing during the first half of next year.”

Al-Dardari underlined Syria’s interest in enhancing ties with the EU and the importance of Europe to assume its responsibilities towards the region through a European active role.

“The agreement stipulates for a political dialogue, cultural and economic cooperation and a European technical support to Syria…. It will found for a political dialogue with a higher level, culture, scientific and academic cooperation that pave the way for getting European important expertise to boost the economic reforms in Syria,” Deputy Premier said.

He stressed that the economic side is the most important part in the Agreement which aims at establishing a free trade zone between the EU and Syria during 12 years leading to freeing trade fully between the two sides at the end of this duration.

“The partnership Association will put the economic reform process and legislations in Syria on a clear track,” al-Dardari said, adding that Syria has fulfilled the majority of the legislative amendments enlisted in the Agreement.

The Agreement was signed by Chairman of the State Planning Commission Tayser Riddawi, Deputy Director General for the External Relations’ Department in the EU Commission, in the presence of he EU Commission Ambassador in Damascus Vassilis Bontosoglou.
