There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

Members of the Cape Amalgamated Taxi Association (Cata) were nervous as they gathered for the memorial service for a fellow member said by the Democratic Alliance (DA) to have been the third to have been shot dead after giving the party damning information about a rival organisation.

Taxi owner Ronnie Eiman, a Cata executive member and former chairperson of the rival Congress of Democratic Taxi Associations (Codeta), was shot dead outside his Kraaifontein home on Saturday evening.

His memorial service was held in the Northpine community hall on Wednesday.

Shocked and saddened

Robin Carlisle, DA MPL, told the provincial legislature on Tuesday he was outraged at the murders of Eiman at the weekend, M J Prinsloo in May, and Michael Kupiso last year.

“All three of these men were shot within days of providing me with information on the taxi industry, mostly in relation to mafia activities and collaboration between elements in Codeta and elements in the law-enforcement agencies,” he said.

Cata members said last night they felt afraid at the service because they had asked the police to be present, but did not see them there. Spokesperson Novela Potelwa said police had circled the block instead of entering the hall.

Codeta spokesperson Howard Dyubeni said he was shocked and saddened to hear of Eiman’s death.

“The blood-letting has been going on for too long and innocent people are losing their lives on both sides,” he said.

‘Find a solution’

“It’s time for all politicians to stand up against this quagmire. It is time for the premier and transport MEC to do something. (Provincial) police Commissioner Mzwandile Petros is the only one who has been trying sincerely to find a solution.”

Cata members said they feared they would be killed for speaking out against warlordism in the industry, allegedly driven by Codeta.

Cata members claimed Codeta members were bullying them off routes south of the R300 granted to them under a Cape High Court order.

Codeta, however, believed the court ruling had not been heeded, leading to chaos.

“People are operating without licences, left, right and centre and we’re all suffering,” said Dyubeni.

A Cata member, who asked not to be named, claimed the violence involved corrupt policemen and government officials with ties to Codeta.

Eiman, Prinsloo and Kupiso had been shot after giving such evidence. Another member, nicknamed “Dunga”, who was to be buried next week, had spoken out, saying: “If you say anything against Codeta, you’re a dead man.”
