I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

President Thabo Mbeki’s loyalists have won the first round in the battle to replace outgoing premier Nosimo Balindlela.
Since last week, backroom moves to unseat Balindlela have seen the camp loyal to Mbeki pitted against those who support party president Jacob Zuma.
At an extraordinary meeting of the provincial executive committee on Monday, which lasted until midnight, the first signs emerged that Mbeki loyalists were standing firm.
Although both camps agree Balindlela will go, the fight is about who will replace her, and the three names that emerged are figures firmly in the Mbeki camp: Mbulelo Sogoni, Tokozile Xasa and Gloria Barry.
Sogoni is MEC for Economic Affairs, Environment and Tourism; Xasa MEC for Housing, Local Government and Traditional Affairs; and Barry is deputy Speaker of the Legislature.
Earlier names mentioned were those of Agriculture MEC Gugile Nkwinti; former Roads and Public Works MEC Phumulo Masualle; former Eastern Cape Development Corporation chief executive Mcebisi Jonas; OR Tambo mayor Zoleka Capa; and businessman Sipho Pityana.
But party structures, including the various African National Congress (ANC) leagues, are still lobbying. By late Tuesday afternoon secretaries of the tripartite alliance were locked in a meeting.
At the “tense” gathering of provincial leaders held in King William’s Town on Monday night, ANC secretary-general Gwede Mantashe confirmed the national executive committee’s (NEC) decision to sack Balindlela.
“The province was given an opportunity to interact with the process and assist in identifying three candidates according to the policy of the ANC,” said a senior party leader.
Now the province has until Friday to forward the three names to the ANC headquarters in line with the party’s amended constitution. Several anonymous sources confirmed there was no opposition to Balindlela’s axing, but the difficulty was in reaching consensus on her replacement.
