I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

Robbers made off with a large sum of money after bombing three ATMs at a Hammarsdale shopping centre early on Tuesday, causing damage estimated at R4-million.
The latest bombings brought the number of ATM attacks in KwaZulu-Natal to 23 for the year.
Police Superintendent Henry Budhram said officers were ambushed by three men who opened fire on them when they arrived at the Webber Shopping Centre. The officers abandoned their vehicle and retaliated.
The men then dashed into the police vehicle and sped off. More police arrived at the scene and pursued the robbers, who later abandoned the vehicle in Inanda, Durban, and ran off.
Budhram said all the ATMs attached to the centre had been damaged in the explosions.
“Commercial explosives were used and structural damage to the building and ATMs is believed to be in the extent of R4-million,” he said.
Investigations revealed that three men, armed with high-calibre rifles, got into the centre by cutting a lock on a gate.
They held up two security guards and forced them into a room where they were held prisoner before the explosives were triggered.
Police appealed to people with any information on the incident to contact Supt Willie Olivier, of the organised crime unit, at 082 772 2341, or Crime Stop at 08600 10111.
On Tuesday’s incident follows the bombing of four ATMs in Kempton Park, last Tuesday and another at Ekurhuleni on the same night.
Meanwhile, Kalyani Pillay, the CEO of the South African Banking Risk Information Centre, an industry representative of the four major banks in the country, said they were monitoring the frequency of ATM bombings.
“ATM attack is a serious crime, and is attracting the relevant amount of attention from the banking industry. Since January 2008, 307 ATMs had been attacked out of the total installed base of 15 000. We believe one attack is one too many,” she said.
Nationally, there were 54 ATM bombings in 2006, and 387 last year.
Pillay said the information centre and the banks were taking the matter seriously, and were working with the police and the National Prosecuting Authority.
“People are urged to take note of general safety tips. In addition, we suggest that people always endeavour to use ATMs situated within busy areas and to avoid ATMs in dark, isolated areas,” she said.
