You can buy them from several sources including the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, if you have a brokerage account. Most Banks these days have brokerage departments because many of the brokers in the past don’t exist any more! (Bankrupt?) Most of them disappeared.
However, I would highly recommend The South African Gold Coin exchange. I have dealt with them myself.
Plus, they offer a really nice option: If you buy KrugerRands from them, they will also place them in safekeeping FOR FREE if you want!
They are easy to deal with and the paperwork goes really quickly. Jan]
