SA: DA leader Zille arrested in Cape Town

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

SA: DA leader Zille arrested in Cape Town

[Er, ahem, as I was saying… Apartheid is starting to look rather ATTRACTIVE hey? Jan]
Democratic Alliance leader and Cape Town mayor Helen Zille was arrested in the Cape Flats for participating in a march against drug lords, she told SABC radio on Sunday night.

“The last time I saw anything like this was under apartheid when I was taken in,” Zille told the state broadcaster, stressing that several police had failed to arrest drug dealers, but arrested protesters instead.

She said she had been charged with attending an illegal gathering and would lodge a counter-claim of unlawful arrest.

“The police are being exposed for what they are. There are scores of police and the drug dealers are going ahead with their trade”.

This included selling drugs to children.

She said the police were busy with a “purely political” agenda.

Zille said she had been gathering the names of witnesses during the march.

She said a Muslim priest was first arrested, following which the crowd was ordered to disperse.

“It’s a pity they don’t arrest the drug merchants. Everybody knows where they ply their trade.”

Meanwhile, Western Cape police spokesperson Captain Elliot Sinyangana said: “I cannot talk about it. We will release a statement”.

DA finance spokesperson Douglas Gibson said after hearing Zille on SABC: “Helen Zille has got the courage of a lion.

“To have a situation where the leader of the opposition party in South Africa is arrested for (participating in) a legal march against illegal drug lords shows which way we are going in this country…”

“They don’t arrest the drug lords who are known to all, but they arrest Helen Zille.”

DA justice spokesperson Sheila Camera, who currently in Munich, Germany said: “I was not aware… It is regretful… I am horrified.” – Sapa
