In KwaZulu-Natal the other day there was an extremely angry protest over crime, and the famous Afrikaans pop singer, Steve Hofmeyer was present and took part. He also said a number of eloquent words about the Crime Denialists in our Govt (of which President Mbeki is one).

Below is Steve Hofmeyer who spoke very eloquently about the matter. He said that we need a different TYPE of response because of the TYPE of crime we have. He was referring to and alluding to the VICIOUS nature of crime which we have.

Look at how many crime protestors turned out in this little town! (Note how many are white!). They’re enraged… They were at the courthouse and according to eTV there is a good chance the 3 gang rapists will get bail.

The 3 gang rapists entered a house where there were 5 people. 3 of the women were gang-raped. Then when they’d finished, the gang rapists casually stayed in the house, made themselves a meal and ate it before leaving! (See, Criminals in this country have NO FEAR because they know the Govt, Law, Police are ON THEIR SIDE!)
