[This is hillarious. The owner of this sign is a fellow called Andre. So it sounds like an Afrikaner on a small-holding who is losing it. The sign seems to be aimed at blacks. It says: “To any uneducated, uncultured, uncivilised son-of-a-bitch…” I’ve mentioned before that blacks in Africa trespass a lot. They walk all over your land…

This reminds me of a story a co-worker of mine from Pretoria told me. People may not understand the FRUSTRATIONS that whites in Africa experience. You say something nicely… and the blacks ignore you. You ask them, “PLEASE, DON’T DO THIS ANY MORE…” then they ignore you. Eventually, you are so frustrated, you just LOSE IT… like Andre above.

My co-worker from Pretoria told the story of the white American man who moved into his suburb. He was calm about the blacks at first. But… several years later… when he sees a black man walking in the neighbourhood and perhaps urinated at his wall, the American man would run out screaming at the top of his voice at the black guy and chase him away. Years of living in Africa has now turned the American into ONE OF US!!! He runs around telling my Afrikaner friend that the blacks are uncivilised, etc.

Africa does that to you. I’ve seen it happen to British and other European people who come here. They come here all Liberal-like and sweet and innocent… and after some years most of them become like Andre the Afrikaner below! Jan]
