[Neil Watson/Juan Uys, is now going to face the wrath of the Police. The Economic Crimes unit are investigating him. I hear rumours that he pocketed a lot of money. But have no firm clues. I have heard firmer stories that there are people who wrote him cheques of R1,000 and R1,500 to help with the protests which in the end, only resulted in about 25 people pitching up. This fellow has gone into hiding. People say he never answers his phone, etc. Apparently Neil/Juan phoned in to Cape Talk at a point and they asked him to identify himself and he refused to. Radio 702 (Click here for 702) will be doing a story on him at 9pm, friday night. You can listen live internationally via streaming from their site for free. Clearly this Neil/Juan guy is really rather skittish about publicity – and the last thing he wants is to be dragged into the open. But I fear he will be… when he is handcuffed and led off to court. Oh, and into jail too. Neil/Juan’s legacy will be that he F*CKED UP the TRUST that was building between MOST HONEST WEBSITE/BLOG OWNERS and the general public.
