[I received this from a former CESA supporter who gave Neil money. He asked that I keep his details confidential, but here is what he wrote. What the person below writes ties up with my own discussions with Neil and discussions which other people I know had with Neil telephonically.

Now that Neil’s identity is such an incredible mystery, I might as well reveal that in about August, there were plans afoot for me to meet Neil at a mutual friend’s house. I mentioned before that Neil was in touch with someone I know in the Cape. Well, Neil was going to visit that person (who even then was highly suspicious about his identity). That friend of mine suggested that I also meet with Neil. As it was, I quietly had so many reservations about Neil and his way of doing things that later I told my friend I’d rather we not meet. So in the end, none of it happened. Neil did not meet my friend and I did not meet Neil. But looking back now… if I had met him… I could have been able to answer definitively the question about what he looks like! Nevertheless I am 99.9% certain the journalists have got the info right. Neil Watson=Juan Uys. The End!

The only part in this supporter’s story below that is NEWS TO ME is the mention of the “bry” – that way of speaking Afrikaans. I did not notice that when I spoke to Neil/Juan. All the other descriptions of his voice I can agree with. Yes, you can hear he is gay. It is very obvious. It caught me totally off-guard when I spoke to him that time because back then, there was no hint that he was gay. It was a fact I decided to keep to myself. I did not want to mention it because then people would say I’m being negative about him, etc. So I just said nothing. My friend also confirmed that Neil/Juan is quite a chatterbox. He loves to talk. Once he starts talking – he can’t stop. He’s even worse than I am!! Jan]

I also spoke to some other people after Neil Watson (not his real name)
phoned me on last Friday. He started a chatbox on the website and it was
“Apparently” hacked by some guy who made racist posts. This is all
nonsense !! Let me tell you the REAL story.

The guy who phoned me saying that he is Neil Watson is definitely gay
and Afrikaans. He spoke to me in Afrikaans and has a distinctive
Afrikaans “Bry” (rolling of the “R”). I could hear from his voice that
he is gay.

In my oppinion, Neil Watson is Shaun Thompson is Juan Uys.

He is a Bullsh*tter. Talks very fast, about twenty topics in twenty
seconds. Confusing. Some people fell for this, not me.

I think he staged the entire shut down of the CESA website himself.

I think he was maybe paid to shut it down.

I think he has been cornered by the media first, and then by fellow CESA supporters (Like Me) to reveal his true identity.

He had no escape and is now on the run from the media and his
supporters.
