Sir,
I was instructed by the Organizing Committee of the Volk Protest Parade to send this letter to your organization.

1. The Volk is tired of the never-ending human rights violations perpetrated daily against our people. It was decided to have a Volk protest parade so the South African government and the world can take cognizance and can realize that the Volk is saying œwe have had enough of this!!
2. I was elected chairperson of the organizing committee and Gerhard Combrinck will act as organizer during the weekend and specifically during the parade. The parade will be known the VOLK PROTEST PARADE, and will not be associated with any organization.
3. You are officially invited to participate in or promote this parade
4. Please:
3.1 Propagate this as widely as possible.
3.2 Bring banners or posters to protest against human rights violations as experienced by members of your organization. You are welcome to show the name of your organization if you want to.
3.3 Hand over your own protest letter to the President or his representative at the Union Buildings; organizations will have an opportunity to make a short speech (3 to 5 minutes).

4 The parade will run as follows:
4.1 The Show grounds, Gate P7 from Church Street was reserved for us for the weekend from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th, and members of the Volk can come and camp there for free. Facilities are very good.
4.2 The parade will start at 07:30 AM, from the Show Grounds, will move past Church Square, down Vermeulen Street tot Du Toit Street, back to Church Street, and then to the Union Buildings. The parade will consist of members of the Volk
4.2.1 On motorcycles;
4.2.2 Op horses;
4.2.3 On foot.
4.2.4 On trailers pulled by trucks and tractors.
4.2.5 There will be mobile toilets, ambulance services, and a water cart which will move with the parade.
5 Requests to participants:
5.1 Farmers and smallholders: Please come demonstrate against farm murders and land-grabs!!
5.2 Bring folding chairs/cushions to sit on if you want to ride in a trailer™
5.3 Bring FLAGS. As many as possible.
5.4 Make boards with slogans of your choice. No vulgar language or hate speech will be allowed.
5.5 Each member™s participation will signal to the SA government that we have had enough. Come make your stand NOW.
5.6 Let us prove that we can do this action TOGETHER!!
6 As soon as the proceedings at the Union Buildings have been completed, the parade will return to the show grounds. You are welcome to camp there for the weekend Proper Bushveld firewood will be provided.
7 Legality of the parade:
7.1 Permission to hold the parade has already been granted, and all prescriptions regarding the permission will be strictly adhered to.
7.2 What we are going to do is both legal and in accordance with our constitutional rights:

7.2.1 “Section 235 of the South African Constitution does not, within the framework of the right to self-determination, prohibit the right to self-determination of any community that shares a common cultural and linguistic heritage, from being exercised within a territorial entity within the Republic, or from being acknowledged by national legislation.

“Proponents of a Volkstaat are free to campaign for political and constitutional changes which would result in the forms of self-determination which they consider appropriate being brought about and institutionalized”
