[My source in the Afrikanerbond says its ok for me to put out info from him as long as I keep it anonymous. So, I am allowed to refer to him as “A Senior Broederbond Member…” He sent me this mail a while back, which certainly is interesting. And I’d like to speculate a bit. What if this whole Jacob Zuma thing will lead to a merger of the “moderate ANC” (Mbeki groups) with the DA – Democratic Alliance?). In the light of my CIA R&D, that would make perfect sense. The Liberals in the DA would then work with the “more moderate” ANC… and they’d try to take on the hardcore leftwing faction of the ANC/SACP. But… what would it achieve? A bigger “DA/ANC” in parliament? The hard core commies would still run the show… But listen to this very juicy titbit of info. It will be interesting to see if/how/when this pans out. Jan] Hi Jan I was in a Broederbond meeting last night (19 September 2006). While we were breaking for snacks and tea, I stood near a prominent member of the DA and one from the ANC. Both white Afrikaners. The ANC guy told the DA guy that he thinks an amalgamation of the two parties is going to come and that it is inevitable. The shocking part was that the DA guy agreed with him and said: “Yes, yes, I know and you know what…I can not wait”. The ANC guy then said that he thinks that Hellen Zille (Mayoress of Cape Town) knows this as well. The DA guy responded by saying. “Yes, I’m sure it was always in the back of her mind”.
