[A 17-year old kid set up www.TrueCrimeExpo.co.za to counter Neil Watson’s Crime Expo website. It appears to me that what is developing is the “War of the Crime Sites”. That Boshoff asshole is also another who is attacking Neil Watson’s site. I do wonder if these people are who they say they are… but anyway… the war of the crime websites is on. A reader who decided to attack the 17 year old sent him this mail.

To let you know this is what I wrote to that charactor who has created the site against Neil, TRUECRIMEXPO.

I know my approach is different to yours but I know you know we are currently fighting a common cause. I’d like you opinion and you are free to publish this, if you so desire.

What I wrote…

To Malan Jacobs,
I see you as most South Africans who haven’t live abroad are living in a fairy tale world. Do you not realise that the rest of us, in other parts of the world, don’t have 80% of the worries that you, as a South African, have to worry about each day? I go to sleep and wake up comfortably each day with most of my bay windows open. I have no bars on them and can come home, on foot at all hours of the night, no problem. Most I worry about is getting run over by a bus because of my drunkenness.

Tough if tourism gets affected. A rolling ball gathers no moss and Neil has kick started something that your website will have no chance at all to rectify or stop. The seed has been sown. South Africa is going through a low intensity war. The murder rate is astronomical and lets not even go on about the rape rate.

I truly believe you are living in a fantasy if you believe that this will go away if you sweep it under the carpet. You are no better than a snake and a trator to all South Africans of all creed and colour.

Do you not think that we should live in security? Do you not think we should be able to have freedom of movement? Do you not think we should all have equal rights? Do you not think we should be a democracy?

Well, if we go your way, we might as well accept fate and expect worse. More of us will die and that is unacceptable! Do you want Civil War because I promise, this will happen if the crime, murder and rape go unchecked. Do you really believe people will sit on the arse and accept this all? If you do, you have no understanding of people or politics and should disappear under that hole where you stuck your head out from. In the interest of fair discussion though, you are a necessary evil. You are the sort of person that I feel ashamed of. You are no better than a collaborator to the Nazi party and if Hitler were in power, I’m sure you’d pass my name across. I’d gladly die for my fellow South Africans and for the truth of tyranny to be exposed.

The ANC have a lot to answer for. They are not solving crime at its cause. It’s a problem of poverty. Blame the past all you like but if we go down that root, I’m afraid, yet again, we going to get nowhere. A culture of blame is not a fundimentally strong culture and is the root of the situation that we are facing. White Africans blaming Black Africans, Black Africans blaming White Africans, White Africans blaming other White Africans and Black Africans blaming other Black Africans. This is a destructive society!

We need unity. We need to wake up. We need to move on and stop talking about the past and realising that we are a Country that is in a pitiful state. We are a Country in peril and people like you think that sticking your head in the sand will make it go away? Well obviosly you don’t understand the mind of a criminal.

I for one have been following the politics of South Africa and tell you, your country is a mess and I wouldn’t, at the moment, invest a single penny into that place until the government sort out their act. How can we defend this government, who, after losing control of Cape Town want to adjust the posts to suit them favourably?

I for one am fighting the fight for your freedom. Please wake up and join the fight. Let’s fight against Tyranny and Corruption.

All i want, and i think every other (dare i say ‘white, black, green, yellow, pink etc since we are ALL the rainbow nation’) south african wants, is to earn a honest living, get along with the people they deal with on a daily basis and those they live around, and enjoy their little space they have carved out for themselves in this world. we are not all young enough to start off anew in some strange country, neither do we want to! since we have all been here since birth. what can i say….
