Someone submitted this interesting link to my site. It appears to be a security company run in part by ex-South African Army people as well as ex-British. Their website is a bit cryptic… I would guess these people might also be mercenaries by another name. They are not however based inside South Africa (because if they were … they might be in jail!). It is illegal for South Africans to take part in any conflict outside South Africa. Currently there are 5,000(43)+ South Africans in Iraq – not as mercenaries, but doing security work there. Rest assured that when they return to South Africa, they will be prosecuted. So any South African who wishes to get into security/mercenary work will have no choice but to emmigrate out of this country first, because you won’t be allowed to operate from here.
