The Beardedman sent me this photo of one use for a 20,000 Zimbabwe Dollar bearer cheque. Appropriately, he placed it inside a copy of the book: “What happens after Mugabe?” – Can Zimbabwe Rise from the Ashes? Of course a country can rise from the ashes… if it uses Free Market Capitalism as the mechanism, then it can rise quickly. The Zimbabwe which Mugabe inherited went from the stone age, with some huts, to a country with industrial potential in less than 90 years. But if those who follow Mugabe are a bunch of socialists, then of course the country will be just as screwed as it is now. Jan] |
