[I found this map which was part of a war game conducted by the Americans some years ago. It shows that with less than 400 nuclear war heads (which would be less than 4% of the entire US nuclear arsenal), the Americans could kill 1/4 of the population of China – i.e. 320 million people. So maybe China is not nearly as powerful nor as dangerous as one might assume. Jan] |
