S.Africa: Buying a Generator for your house…

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

S.Africa: Buying a Generator for your house…

[We have got a very serious electricity crisis which is hitting us. Apparently major newspapers like The Sunday Times and Die Beeld are running stories saying that we will have tremendous power shortages and outages in winter – which is only a few months away.

For quite some time I’ve been pondering adding a generator to my old house. Some friends have recently been saying the same thing. One friend of mine wants to get completely away from ANY dependency on our municipality. He even has a borehole. His next project, because he works from home is getting a generator.

Now since FUEL could itself become a potential problem if the Middle East falls apart in the coming years, I think one must be careful not to consume too much petrol or diesl if one uses a generator.

I was chatting to a friend of mine who lives in Natal. Her husband went, back in 1994, and cleverly rigged up the circuits in his house so that he could run PART of his house off of a generator.

Here are some of the details I got from them. They bought a very large Kubota generator which runs on petrol. They tell me that a tank which is roughly 20-25 litres in size runs for roughly 20 hours – and it uses unleaded petrol. The stove is excluded from the circuitry. I was told that the older houses are easier to wire up in this way. They even installed neon lights (low power consumption) in the house.

What impresses me is that their setup is running at R6 per hour or less.

With costs like that, one could almost disconnect entirely from the network if one had to. Suppose you ran your power for your house when you really needed it, say 5 hours per day, it would cost you R900 per month. Which is not bad.

I want to investigate this idea more for myself, and will phone an electrician. But, if any of you have done anything similar or have any experience or advice with regard to this, then let me know. Drop me a line on the contact us page.

They were also telling me that sometimes they give their generator a good run. They sometimes just attach an electric lawnmower to it, and then use it to mow the lawn!

Here is an example of typical ANC putting the cart before the horse and normal incompetancy, etc – and we, the ones who pay, actually suffer. Meanwhile the blacks in the townships and shanty towns get electricity, refuse to pay for it and then waste it and overload the system. (Wouldn’t it be cool if we could disconnect completely from our municiapl services?)

Anyway… clearly, we have to do for ourselves what the ANC can’t do… and that is think and plan ahead.

With regard to water and the water problems, some years back, I decided to experiment with gathering rain water. I went and bought a 1000 litre plastic water tank. I stuck it under one of my gutters, cut a hole in it and let it fill up with water. Some good rains quickly fill it up.

So I don’t have a borehole, but my plan is, if our water supply goes kaput, then I have 1000 litres of water on standby, and all I need to do is simply boil it or treat it with pills or jik (bleach), and at least I have drinking and washing water for many weeks with absolutely no effort and no cost.

But, for those among you with skills… none of these are BAD THINGS folks… these are OPPORTUNITIES waiting for a solution. Maybe selling generators and connecting them to homes could be a small business for someone?

I would very much like to encourage everyone out there to have a positive attitude to this and to look for opportunities (a) For making a few bucks for yourself (b) Helping other people who are being hit with the results of ANC mismanagement.

We have seen in recent month the electricity going for a loop, and fuel supplies becoming slightly erratic, and water also going wobbly.

We should keep our eyes and ears open, put our thinking caps on and see what is gonna hit us next, and try to think ahead, plan and prepare for it. This could all be an opportunity for business… CAPITALISM is the solution to this Socialist crap. Socialism is not self-sustaining, but capitalism survives anything. So we need to get our thinking and trading caps on and start doing business with each other. (Note: Honest business hey… not cheating each other…)

As I mentioned with my advertising idea… I will be happy to support people who offer genuine, useful services – I will put their ads up on my sites for free.

I did tell some friends a while back that what we need in SA is a Survival Industry. We need to sit back and start preparing.

If you don’t keep candles or some gas camp cookers and lights around – do so. Its cheap, simple and can save you a lot of grief. I still have all the things I bought back in 1994. We’re gonna be needing them.

Learn to think ahead, and buy what you need.

By using a little bit of savvy, you can not only survive but outdo other people (who are asleep), when problems hit in the future. Every problem can be overcome… be it hyperinflation or anything… you just need to think ahead.

I think this is good. As I mentioned before, things like this were predicted by visionaries like Dr Jan Du Plessis and my good friend, Dr Chris Jordaan who talks of collapse by 2010.

Based on these analyses… things will collapse more and more… but it will provide opportunities for capitalism. Even large corporations may suffer, so all sorts of possible business niches may then come into being which we whites, with skills and initiative can take advantage of.

I am very much in favour of the small business – the 1-5 man business – which can exist, untouched by the ANC’s racist laws. These are the little businesses we must help.

So if anyone comes up with good ideas, I am more than happy to spread the word and do my little bit to encourage you and to encourage people to support you.

If we can start doing business with each other and helping each other… then excellent. Plus, our overseas friends and expats might also be able to contribute or help. So folks, put your thinking caps on, and let’s look forward to the opportunities which will be brought to us thanks to our incompetant and corrupt Govt. Unbeknown to the ANC, they might actually present us with brand new opportunties which we might never have had. There has to be fallout from their madness, and the one thing we have are: SKILLS SKILLS SKILLS… and the combination of SKILLS plus the ability to work hard, as well as efficiently, could be the key to new success for all of us.

The other bonus is that many whites are unemployed and willing to work for little pay. This ALSO opens up great business opportunities. Because whites work better, and for less, we should in theory be very competitive. We could be able to undercut some of the bigger and more inefficient businesses. Many of these negatives could turn into big POSITIVES… if we think carefully…

It has been predicted that large structures, Government, and possibly the large corporates may become highly inefficient. Remember, the ANC loaded large corporates with so much racist, anti-White legislation that they maybe extremely costly to run – not to mention inefficient.

So one thing I am hoping will happen is that new business NICHES will open up as the large corporates struggle with all this heavy ANC legislation. So stick around – unexpected opportunities may pop up for those with initiative and let’s make the most of it. Jan]
