[I want input from people on this. Who will support this?

I was having a chat with some friends, and some new facts are coming to the fore.

We often see news in suburban newspapers, showing that people are being murdered, and heinous crimes are taking place in small towns all around South Africa. Via the grape vine, from friends and family, we hear of crimes occuring nearby which are never even reaching newspapers.

We have been forming the opinion that even though the news one sees coming out is terrible, it actually is only the tip of the iceberg.

For example, Farm Murders are still occuring, but journalists are not going out, taking photos or investigating or writing about them.

Many things happen in rural areas which aren’t being reported.

A reader of my book phoned me the other day to ask when I would start up the Government by Deception newsletter again.

I’m sitting here and toying with an idea. Is it possible to bring together people to form a news organisation?

I’ll tell you why? I sit and put out news all the time, but its only a part time affair. I know many people who are willing to get in their cars, drive around, take photos, interview people, etc.

I also know certain organisations who have access to news which is not being reported in english for a wider audience.

The bottom line: This is much bigger than a one man, part time job. Is it possible for us to bring people together: people inside SA, Ex-pats, and also foreigners, to create and fund a fully blown news organisation which puts out the news on a large scale and which interacts with farmers, farming organisations, labour movements, churches, etc to hunt down news which currently is being suppressed?

I’m thinking of something different to African Crisis, more like IOL or News24 – but which go after the really HARD NEWS which even they don’t go after. Something which is not opinionated, like African Crisis, but which just presents THE FACTS – no opinion, no analysis – just RAW NEWS.

Perhaps, it could produce a News Letter – a hard copy – (like the AIDA PARKER NEWSLETTER used to be – and which now is defunct) – which could be mailed to people inside and outside S.Africa.

I’d like to throw some ideas around to see if some kind of group project could be begun, and I will approach various Afrikaner friends of mine. I’m thinking of something big, which we could use to create a team of journalists who move around S.Africa, Namibia and maybe even Zimbabwe – to hunt down serious stories and to dig into the news which they are working so hard to cover up. This news must then be presented, purely as facts, with no accompanying “attitudes” (like mine). That way one could also try to get people to advertise on that site.

What I’m thinking of is more than a website – more like a Website/NewsLetter/News Organisation. Then we could also build up photo libraries, and perhaps sell photos and info to others who need it. It would be excellent if it could even had a “radio section” to it.

The bottom line is that there must be some underlying finances to hold the whole thing up and market it. And, it must be a bigger thing – a group thing – where it brings together several interested parties. It must be something which brings together people and organisations (e.g. Religious organisations) who would want to support it. Its mission must be to expose all the hard news which is currently being suppressed.

I raised this now because of discussions with friends of mine who are keen to participate in such a thing, and who realise what a huge task it is. I might even be able to rope in one or two professional geostrategic analysts.
