[I posted some musings of an old school chum of mine the other day, no doubt as frustrated as I am to see Robert Mugabe still alive and kicking MDC ass.

My Geostrategist friend, Dr Chris Jordaan, who is currently recovering from an operation (he nearly died a year ago), wrote these comments about Mugabe’s institutionalised Terrorism.

Regardless of how he is defined, I’d like, at the very least to see him run out of power like a dog, and at best be shot to death or torn limb from limb by screaming mobs. Jan]

A well documented reference to terrorism by the state was done when there was an propaganda campaign against SA. The term then used was “institutionalized oppression”.

It will be difficult to call Mugabe a “terrorist”. It is possible to call him and his government as conducting “institutionalized terror” and thereby refer to his regime as conducting “institutionalized terrorists”… Their protection by law and constitution, which they change as necessary, give them institutionalized power. The abuse of this power against their own people bring them into the category of regimes that terrorize their people.

Mugabe by all means still thinks like a “revolutionary” (deemed a “terrorist”) and will try to keep the revolutionary spirit alive, while the world has moved on.
