S.Africa: Here comes Communism through the back door…

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

S.Africa: Here comes Communism through the back door…

[Here it finally is… the thing which freaked Whites out about 10 years ago or so. The ANC mentioned it would be taxing property. This is outright Communism. Communists always wage war on Property Owners. If you go back to the Bolshevik revolution, they were killing property owners then… and they are killing them in South Africa right now… when they murder farmers. But, deeper, lurks a hatred of those who own “the means of production”… and land owners. Here is one more cross to bear for our embattled farmers.

Furthermore, take note of the “reassurances” given by the Minister. They say: “It does make provision, however, for the minister of agriculture to jump in if the tax is so high it affects production of foodstuffs.” Rest assured that this assurance is worth less than a sheet of toilet paper.

This article was actually marketed as “Property tax is mostly good news”… and as you will see in the opening lines, it mentions: “Gee, the farmers aren’t too enthusiastic about that!” Of course not!! The Property Tax, which is outright Communism, is something most of us feared.

As I have been saying for years… One cannot co-exist with the ANC because the ANC is coming to get you… in one way or another. The bastards just won’t leave us in peace. Bit by bit, they intend breaking us down.

There is no place on the African continent for people other than Blacks. The joke is that as the Blacks take firmer control, I believe you will see: More black-on-black wars, more genocide and more poverty. The ANC is coming after us Whites because we are successful – BUT WE ARE NOT THE PROBLEM AND WE NEVER WERE. WE WERE THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY MADE THIS CONTINENT FUNCTION… and chances are… WE ARE THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO CAN STILL SAVE IT – as ironic as that may seem. Jan]

Cape Town – The long-awaited implementation of the Municipal Property Tax Act will come into effect on July 2 this year.

The announcement on Monday came as good news for most homeowners, but was not as favourably received by the agricultural sector.

Provincial and Local Government Minister Sydney Mufamadi made the announcement on Monday and assured people that property tax would not rise dramatically.

But, his optimism was not shared by the agricultural sector.

Lourie Bosman, president of AgriSA, said the act could destroy the agricultural sector if municipalities were allowed to abuse it and overtax farmers.

He said, also, it was ‘absurd’ to impose property tax on agricultural land.

But, the act stipulates that this land also should be taxed.

It does make provision, however, for the minister of agriculture to jump in if the tax is so high it affects production of foodstuffs.

Experts feel it is good news

To date, most agricultural land in the northern provinces has gone untaxed.

Mufamadi made the announcement at the national forum for municipal finances in Boksburg on Monday.

Property experts feel it is good news for municipalities and residents.

Municipal income from property tax is expected to increase and most homeowners will probably end up paying less property tax.

All local governments will have a unilateral policy on property valuations and levies.

Mufamadi emphasised that the aim of the act was not to increase property tax, but to increase the income of municipalities by increasing the base of properties that could be taxed.

Owners of public infrastructures such as highways, roads, railway tracks and powerlines also will have to pay tax.

Fears that this act could increase property taxes come from the clause in the act that not only land, but also improvements, such as buildings, will be taxed.

Some may pay even less

According to Erwin Rode, senior manager of property evaluation firm Rode & Partners, these fears are unfounded.

“In general, people will not pay more – maybe even less, as municipalities will have to adjust their property tax tariffs.”

Tinus Nel, managing director of De Leeuw Africa Valuators, agreed.

Rode and Nel welcomed Mufamadi’s announcement, saying the new act would make the valuation process more thorough and organised.

Although the implementation of the new act comes into effect on July 2, municipalities will have four years in which to put it into effect.
