S.Africa: Teen Gang: Couldn"t kill him – so they burned him alive

WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

S.Africa: Teen Gang: Couldn"t kill him – so they burned him alive

[This is Coloured-on-Coloured violence in Cape Town. Gangs are common among Coloureds. Jan]

Six alleged teenage gangsters are accused of burning a fellow gang member to death in a rubbish bin – after their repeated efforts to kill him by shooting proved unsuccessful.

The men, now all over 18 years old, were aged between 16 and 20 when they allegedly shot Zahier Hendricks twice and then set his badly injured body alight. Hendricks, like his accused killers, was allegedly a member of the Mitchells Plain Fancy Boys gang.

Fabian Cornellissen, Mogahmat Hassiem Davids, Charlton Coetzee, Nicolas Hudson, Gerald Louw and Mark Anthony Pretorius made a brief appearance in the Cape High Court on Monday. They were not asked to plead to the murder charge and the case was postponed to this morning.

They are also facing charges related to the illegal possession of arms and ammunition.

The state, represented by advocate Greg Wolmarans, alleges that Hendricks and his accused murderers spent the morning of April 11, 2003 in an Eastridge house.

At some point, then 18-year-old Davids allegedly produced a 9mm Astra semi-automatic weapon and shot Hendricks.

According to the state, Davids then handed the gun to Cornellissen, then 16, who himself proceeded to shoot Hendricks. Cornellissen later asked Coetzee, 17, to look after the gun.

It emerged from the state’s summary of facts that Hudson, 20, had run away during the shooting. But Hudson would allegedly return when the group – barring Coetzee – later placed the severely injured Hendricks in a rubbish bin near the house.

“Although he was at that stage seriously injured, Hendricks was still alive when he was set alight,” the state alleges.
