[Currently big negotiations are on hand to write off Africa’s debt… I think its completely insane. Blacks borrow money… waste it as they please… then whine about interest payments… and then the money is written off… Then they go and borrow all over again!!! Will they never learn? I hope that in the future, Western nations lend less and less money to black Africa and teach them the basics of money handling which teenagers ought to know. Jan] Ottawa – Canada said on Monday that it was formally cancelling Madagascar’s Canadian debt, worth $17-million, in line with a move announced last year by the Paris Club of Creditor nations. Finance Minister Ralph Goodale said African nations which improved governance should be allowed “the opportunity to invest in their citizens, rather than be compelled to divert their financial resources to interest payments”. Madagascar is the fourth African nation which has seen all of its debt to Canada wiped out in the last four months, joining Senegal, Ghana and Ethiopia.
