[On my way in to Johannesburg, there is a traffic light where they regularly smash people’s windows and steal items out of their cars. Of late I’ve been noticing regularly the piles of broken glass on the road by the passenger windows where these guys hit. This happened to me in November last year. A guy stood next to my car motioning as if asking me to tell him the time, the next moment my passenger window burst in on me. I was caught totally by surprise. Next time though… we’ll see. Jan]
