[A Coup in South Africa is not possible. The idea that through a simple coup, a couple of whites can seize control of an African country is ridiculous. They’d be sorted out quickly. The only way, ultimately for whites, is through fighting for a homeland – in a proper civil war. There are no quick, “easy”, simple answers. The real answer… is actually very bloody indeed. Jan] Pretoria – A Limpopo farmer told the Pretoria High Court on Wednesday morning about his involvement in an alleged right-wing plot to topple the government. Testifying against his alleged co-plotters in the so-called Boeremag trial, Lourens du Plessis gave evidence of several meetings where plans were discussed to take over military bases and police stations. He agreed at the time that a coup was the only way of improving the situation of white South Africans and ensuring their survival, the millionaire Thabazimbi farmer told the court. He implicated several of the 22 trialists in the coup plot. The men face 42 charges ranging from treason to murder, attempted murder and the illegal possession of arms, ammunition and explosives.
