There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

Zim Police to embark on nation-wide arms audit

[Note. This is no doubt because of government fears of a possible uprising. Jan]

Police will on Friday embark on a countrywide firearms audit.

The police said they would want to check the number of guns and types that members of the public are keeping in their homes.

“Members of the public are required to take their firearms and firearm certificates to their nearest police station for this verification process,” said police spokesperson Superintendent Oliver Mandipaka.

He said a team from the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) would be deployed at all police stations countrywide to carry out the process.

“It won’t even take hours and members of the public will return home with their firearms after the process,” said Supt Mandipaka.

He urged members of the public to co-operate fully during the process, which is scheduled to end on December 31 this year.

Supt Mandipaka said they would also make follow-ups on those who do not bring their fire-arms.

“We have records of those people with firearms and we urge members of the public to assist us with information on anyone with a firearm held illegally,” he said.

A total of 323 armed robberies were committed in Harare between January and October this year compared to 276 cases during the same period last year, amid rising concern over the proliferation of guns in the country.

Police have so far this year confiscated at least 200 small arms and these included Uzis, CZ pistols, 303 rifles, AK-47s and automatic rifles.

Civilians are not allowed to own AK-47s, Uzis and other automatic rifles.

Most of the firearms are suspected to have been smuggled into the country from neighbouring countries like South Africa and Mozambique.
