WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

Agents of the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) have been dispatched to Nigeria to help authorities here investigate the deadly bombing that struck the Mogadishu military barracks in Abuja on New Year’s Eve, American Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said yesterday.

Napolitano, who spoke with the American channel Fox News in Qatar, said the Abuja bombing and a similar incident in Egypt on the same day show that the reach of international terrorism “knows no bounds.”

She confirmed that FBI agents have been dispatched to assist in the Nigerian investigation -a situation she said “is not all that uncommon.”The FBI is often asked to help with such investigations due to its expertise in evidence collection.

At least four were killed and many more wounded in the attack at the Mammy market, a busy area where people congregate to socialise on the edge of the barracks but not in its militarised area. Nobody has yet claimed responsibility while security agencies and the government said investigations were still on.

Napolitano said, “One thing I think it illustrates is that we live in a world

where terrorism is part of the environment, unfortunately. And it’s something that we need to be thinking about, we need to be planning for.”

Spokesman for the police headquarters in Abuja DCP Olusola Amore confirmed that the force was expecting “experts” from the United States to help in the investigations.

Amore said the police force was collaborating with the US embassy

in Abuja to find those behind the explosion.

Defence Minister Adetokunbo Kayode also said on Saturday that the Federal Government would seek foreign help to hunt down the bombers.US president Barack Obama also on Saturday offered his country’s assistance in the investigations.

Meanwhile, President Goodluck Jonathan said yesterday that with greater unity, support and prayers of all Nigerians, his Administration will overcome the challenge of incipient terrorism in the country and move the nation further along the path to growth and development.

The President, who was addressing the congregation at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Maitama, said his New Year wish was for all Nigerians to work together for national development with greater cohesion and unity of purpose.”My New Year wish and request for all Nigerians is for us to work in unity, for us to cooperate more and for us not to discriminate against ourselves. With that, definitely Nigeria will grow and we will develop a country that all our children will be proud of,” the President said.

He urged Nigerians not to be discouraged by the bomb explosions which claimed the lives of innocent citizens in Abuja and Jos recently, saying that the dastardly acts should not be allowed to distract the nation from its march towards sustainable growth and progress.”There are always obstacles to progress, but with commitment and faith, we will overcome them and our nation will get to where it wants to go,” Jonathan told the congregation.

He said his Administration will continue to work hard to provide an enabling

environment for rapid economic growth and development in the country, adding that power supply and other essential public infrastructure will continue to receive priority attention from the federal government.

Responding to comments made by the Parish Priest, Reverend Father Innocent Jooji, Jonathan said he will continue to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the federal public service by ensuring that credible

professionals were placed at the helm of affairs in key ministries.

At the end of the church service, Jonathan went to the Asokoro General Hospital to visit survivors of the New Year’s Eve bomb explosion at a market near Mogadishu Barracks, Abuja.

Accompanied by his wife, Dame Patience Jonathan, the President went round all the wards where the injured persons were receiving treatment and wished them speedy recovery.

He later inspected the scene of the explosions and commended the military

authorities for lessening casualties by speedily evacuating the market after the first explosion before a second blast occurred.

For its part, the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) has expressed concern over the rising violence, especially bomb blasts, across Nigeria, saying the federal government’s inability to identify and bring perpetrators of previous attacks and killings to justice is fuelling the violence.

National Publicity Secretary of the party Alhaji Lai Mohammed said yesterday that a cloud of impunity is hanging over Nigeria as explosions after explosions occur, leading to needless loss of lives, limbs and property. He said in the midst of all the violence, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led federal government seems utterly clueless on how to arrest the situation, forcing many to conclude that Nigeria is fast becoming a failed state.

“We cannot but ask: Is anyone still in charge of Nigeria or have we surrendered the country to anarchists? Is the government still able to meet its first obligation to the people, which is to ensure their welfare and security? For how long can we continue like this, allowing innocent men, women and children to be killed and maimed by end-gamers who are becoming more and more emboldened by the day as the government continues to bumble and waffle?”

He therefore advised President Jonathan to consult other parties outside the PDP as well as individuals and groups to find a way out of the seeming quagmire.
