I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

Abuja/Bauchi – The Northern consensus candidate of the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the forthcoming presidential primaries and former vice-president Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has blamed the recent Abuja bombing which claimed over 11 lives on what he regarded as “lost of focus on security on the side of the federal government”, just as he accused president Goodluck Jonathan of total incompetence.
Also, the former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and presidential aspirant of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu has challenged President Goodluck Jonathan to guarantee the security of the country immediately.
In a response, President Goodluck Jonathan said none of the presidential aspirants went to any special school to garner any experience on leadership, adding that his profile from the bottom to the top is enough exposure to vie for the presidency of Nigeria.
Alhaji Atiku who spoke in Bauchi yesterday while on a courtesy visit on the state governor, Mallam Isa Yuguda also described as undemocratic , a situation where delegates from the PDP would not be allowed to meet with other presidential aspirants of the same political party and called on the national secretariat of the PDP to ensure internal democracy.
The aspirant further said that the recent bomb blasts arose from lack of focus on security on the side of the federal government, adding that security is one of the important aspects in his manifestos which he intends to implement if given the mandate this year.
When asked if he can unseat the incumbent president, Alhaji Atiku said that he believes in God, adding that “it is the Nigerian citizens that will vote and we will see how he can be elected. Is it not the people that cast votes? There is nothing in unseating a sitting president.”
In his condolence message, Mallam Ribadu also challenged the president to step out promptly and strongly to guarantee the security of Nigerians from random acts of terror that is fast enveloping the country.
Ribadu described the perpetrators of the bomb blasts as “cowards and cruel people who deserve no place in a civilised community,” adding that the basic minimum expectation from the government now “is to ensure that the perpetrators of this crazy attack on the fraternal values that unite our communities are promptly and sternly brought to justice.”
Earlier in an interview with LEADERSHIP SUNDAY, the deputy director general of the Atiku Abubakar campaign orgnisation, Chris Mammah accused president Goodluck Jonathan of incompetence over his inability to prosecute and prove allegations of corruption against the former vice-president.
According to Mammah, “Atiku’s opponents have always made allegations of corruption against him, because they are afraid of confronting him at the polls. There have been many unproven allegations of corruption against him and this started from about 2001 when the scheming for the 2003 elections began.
“But, over a period of seven years that they have been making these allegations, Atiku has not been charged for any case of corruption. He has never been invited for questioning by any anti- corruption agency or the police. This is strange because when he was vice-president, the argument was that he had immunity. For almost four years, he had been without immunity, yet no one has brought a charge of corruption against him. Each time the Jonathan campaign engages in smear campaign of corruption against Atiku, I always wonder whether they realize that they are indicting Jonathan of incompetence. If Jonathan truly has cases of corruption against Atiku, it is a sign of incompetence that he has not been able to charge him to court.”
But in another exclusive interview with LEADERSHIP SUNDAY, the Director of Planning, Research and Strategy of the Goodluck Jonathan campaign organization, Mr. Mike Omeire said the president has all it takes to lead Nigeria, adding that none of the other aspirants, not even Atiku Abubakar attended any special school of leadership.
According to Mr. Omeire, “When Atiku Abubakar became vice president, he did not go to any school to gather any experience.”
He continued,”don’t also forget that Atiku attempted to be president on some occasions but he did not get it and I don’t know what he took to the table for him to have thought that he should be considered to be president and the vice-president that he was.
“Even when he won the controversial elections to be governor of Adamawa state, we all know what happened, it is there and clear in our minds. He knows that some of us know, so if you talk about experience, I wonder what experience you want from somebody who has been deputy governor, moved to become the governor of his state, he then became vice president, then acting president to become president. I believe he is the most experienced of all the candidates that we have in the race as far as democracy is concerned.
“We may have had other people who have experiences of all kinds, we have had military leaders who shot their ways into the presidency and as leaders, they have the experience of service but as far as democracy is concerned, they did not pass through any school to learn how to serve.”
