Police have launched a manhunt for Prince Johnson, Jr., son of presidential candidate Senator Prince Y. Johnson, for allegedly robbing several people and injuring some in a Nigerian shop around ELWA.
Some of the wounded victims were taken to Zone 8 Police Station, but police say Senator’s Johnson’s son escaped after he was apprehended. They are now on a manhunt for him.
Bucker Garlo, one of his victims, claimed more than US$1000 was stolen from him along with other valuables. Other Residents spoken to said Johnson, jr. and gang are in the constant hobbit of terrorizing the community.
“I’m only appealing to them (robbers) to give me my sim card. This Prince Johnson boy and his men are always harassing people here.” Seward Boons, Jr., another victim said.
The Commander at the Zone 8 Police Deport, Chief Superintendent Dave Jallah confirmed to this paper that the matter has being registered with the police and that the accused is on the run. He however claimed that the case is not an armed robbery case but robbery.
