WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

Harare – A fifty-three year old Mbare man, who reportedly assaulted and kidnapped his mother (77) will stay in remand prison until next month after being denied bail by a Mbare magistrate yesterday.

Mrs Monica Bassopo-Moyo died after allegedly succumbing to injuries suffered in the assault. Vito Bassopo-Moyo pleaded not guilty when he appeared before magistrate Mrs Tendai Rusinahama, who remanded him in custody to October 4.

For the State, prosecutor Mr Tungamirai Muganhire opposed bail saying Vito had committed a serious offence.

Mr Muganhire said if granted bail, Vito was likely to interfere with witnesses and his chances of absconding were very high. The State alleges that on August 26, Vito and his mother had a misunderstanding over his girlfriends.

Vito is alleged to have clapped and kicked his mother.

She is said to have escaped and locked herself in her bedroom. Vito allegedly locked the main door and gate to prevent her from coming out of the house.

Mrs Bassopo-Moyo was, however, rescued after four days when a neighbour heard her crying for help. A police report was made and Mrs Bassopo-Moyo’s daughter, Avila Bassopo-Moyo, was contacted.

She was taken to Harare Central Hospital for treatment of the injuries sustained in the assault. She, however, died while admitted at the hospital. Mr Muganhire indicated that the State would seek to alter the charges to murder.

Results of the post-mortem are expected to be presented in court.
