WARNING: This is Version 1 of my old archive, so Photos will NOT work and many links will NOT work. But you can find articles by searching on the Titles. There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

The head of UNPOS and the Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Somalia, called on all Somalis to reject violence and use peaceful means to restore security and stability to their conflict-wracked country, Radio Garowe reports.

“The Somali forces and the African Union peacekeeping troops of AMISOM risk their lives each day to protect the TFIs and defend the integrity of the peace process,” Augustine Mahiga said.

Somalia’s transition phase ends August 2011, giving the current government less than a year to wrap up its remaining priority tasks.

“It is important that the present arrangement among the TFIs be maintained. The end of the transition period will give Somalis the opportunity to determine a new political dispensation, but there is much work to be done before then,” he said, adding: “There is no time to waste.”

On Thursday, twin suicide car bombers detonated their explosive-laden cars at Mogadishu’s main airport, killing many people but government officials claimed that they thwarted the attack.

In a joint statement, the heads of the UN Political Office for Somalia (UNPOS), the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) and the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) described the attack as a “heinous act of terrorism.”

Al-Shabaab, an insurgent group that controls most of southern Somalia, recently vowed to wage a final and massive war against the U.N.-backed government and more than 6,000 African Union peacekeepers from Uganda and Burundi in Mogadishu.

Somalia’s 20-year conflict is deeply rooted in clan warfare and the clans in southern Somalia have shifted alliances between pro-government and pro-insurgent sides, making south-central Somalia unpredictable and extremely dangerous for all.
