My friend and I left for Orania at 4am in the morning. I was absolutely smashed from this week’s workload at work and at home. I was feeling decidedly sick and tried to head off more problems by sleeping in the car while my friend was driving.
When I woke, my friend told me that in the vicinity of Bloemfontein he had seen a massive number of black taxis (10 seaters plus) filled with blacks heading to the soccer. He said he counted 180 taxis and then given up counting.
