Here are some photos I took in Orania today. These photos are of one of 2 houses I saw being built with straw. Apparently this type of building is popular in Europe.
The secret is to keep the straw walls dry and to cover it with a special type of cement. This house is in the process of being built.
Next to it, it had quite a tall tower which could generate some wind power.
