Huambo – Two people alleged to have committed murder were arrested by the National Police in central Huambo province in the last seven days, Angop learned on Friday.
They are Leonardo Bongombali, suspected to have beaten to death Antónia Vilemba on June 4 at Camussamba ward, outskirts of Huambo city and Mariana Situculi (26), in Ukuma district, said to have asphyxiated her three-month old son.
According to Police weekly report, another 67 people were arrested in connection with a total of 50 crimes of diverse nature. The crimes include 26 against people, 22 against property and four public order infringements.
