There is a lot of information in this archive. Use the SEARCH BAR at the top right. Prior to December 2012; I was a pro-Christian type of Conservative. I was unaware of the mass of Jewish lies in history, especially the lies regarding WW2 and Hitler. So in here you will find pro-Jewish and pro-Israel material. I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

The battle against corruption in Liberia has continued unabated with President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf ordering members of her cabinet to become more assertive in dealing with corruption and other problems in their respective ministries.

In her inaugural address on January 16, 2006, President Sirleaf declared corruption as a public enemy number one of the government of Liberia.

The battle to eradicate corruption has continued, with more people still adamant and deeply involved in the practice.

But, speaking at a special cabinet meeting Friday following her return from meeting with President Barack Obama in the United States, President Sirleaf said, “people who have responsibilities should carry out their responsibilities, for if they don’t carry them out, they sabotage the whole government.”

According to Dr. Momo Rogers, Director General of the Cabinet, President Sirleaf urged ministers to take the “hard decisions” necessary to root out corruption in government.

She ordered that “When you find corrupt individuals in your ministries, you should fire them em-masse,” She said this would change public perception that the government does not have the “political will” to act against corruption.

The Liberian leader told members of the cabinet that from now on, when she fires any government official, she will tell the public exactly the reason for which the person is being fired rather than letting the Ministry of Justice determine later what the person is guilty of.

She raised qualms with the court system, describing it as very slow and has asked the Ministry of Justice to know whether there was any way to speed up cases of corruption already at the courts without infringing on the rights of the individuals involved in terms of their innocence or guilt.

President Sirleaf said the Ministry of Justice has to win more cases to show that the government is serious about fighting fraud and corruption.

The government has demonstrated over the past four years its commitment to fighting corruption by putting in place many initiatives, including the GAC and LACC.

These measures against corruption are ongoing as evident by the one-day Ethical Leadership Interactive Forum beginning Tuesday, June 8, hosted by the Civil Service Agency (CSA), for members of the Cabinet and selected heads of Government Agencies and Commissions, at the Robert L. Johnson Kendeja Resort.
