I was definitely WRONG about the Boeremag and Janusz Walus. They were for real.

Harare – Plastic making company Pro-Plastic last month allegedly lost 1 900 litres of diesel worth US$2 000 to two employees who connived with a truck driver to steal the fuel.

Graffin Mambiravana (43) and Stephen Munewe (47) yesterday appeared before Harare magistrate Mr Don Ndirowei charged with theft and were remanded in custody to June 21.

Prosecutor Ms Shelly Zvenyika alleges that on May 21 this year, the pair received 8 000 litres of diesel from Total Zimbabwe and connived with the truck driver, only identified as Joseph, to steal 1 900 litres of the fuel.

The theft came to light last week after an alert security officer discovered the anomaly, it is alleged.

The two reportedly failed to account for the fuel and a police report was made leading to their arrest.
