I hear that Bafana Bafana, worthless bastards that they are, have managed not to lose the last 12 matches and that a lot is riding on their friday match.
They were promised R1 million per goal scored (if they win).
Given the extreme importance of the FIFA world cup to South Africa, I can’t help wondering if, despite all the financial incentives, whether the ANC isn’t running around behind the scenes trying to buy off players to rig matches so that Bafana Bafana stand some sort of chance.
They dropped from 20th in the world in 1995 to 90th in the world in 2010. But already they’re climbing, to position 70 and maybe higher.
The blacks would go totally mad if Bafana Bafana managed to win something. Remember, the whites, especially Afrikaners, dominate rugby and they won the world cup more than once. The blacks must surely not like feeling like losers.
The ANC has the whole image of themselves, South Africa and the blacks riding on this. I would not be surprised if they did not run around bribing and rigging as much as they could.
Let’s see how well Bafana Bafana does… perhaps they will suddenly “surprise” everyone??
